What a precious man, a messenger sent by God to touch us all and lead us to Him. Although as a family we benefited from his sermons at First Presbyterian in Texarkana, it was on the church float trips where my husband John and I developed a deep love for him. He was so happy to be on the Buffalo river as revealed by the slight continuous smile. Sitting around the camp fire at night his joy was further revealed by the twinkle in his eyes, the deep voice patiently sharing stories and his deep laughter. He was truly a gift from God.
