Obituary for Mitchell Cloyd

Mitchell  Cloyd
Mitchell Todd Cloyd, 45, of Atkins, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born October 21, 1966 in Bakersfield, California, the son of Ray Cloyd and Shirley Peoples. He was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran, loved team roping and deer hunting, and attended Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
He is survived by his fiancée, Tisha Fields of Atkins, 4 sons, Mitchell R. Cloyd of Atkins, David M. Clay of Morrilton, Billy Harris III and Bradley Harris both of Atkins, 2 daughters, Jennifer M. Cloyd of Morrilton, Sha Harris of Atkins, 3 grandchildren, Austen, Acelyn and Maycie, mother and step father, Shirley and Shane Peoples of Russellville, father, Donald Ray Cloyd and Nancy House of Ca., brother and sister-in-law, Max and Syndi Cloyd of Russellville, sister, Mistie Cloyd of CA., grandmothers, Erma Cloyd of Ca., Leona Jackson of Russellville, mother of his children, Marie Cloyd of Morrilton.
Funeral service is 10:00 AM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial is in Bells Chapel Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is 6-8:00 PM Friday.
Pallbearers are Max Cloyd, David Clay, Donald Ray Cloyd, Kevin Elliot, John Unger and Bobby Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
