Stanley Johnson, 86, of Danville, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born May 5, 1932, in Wildcat Hollow Community in Yell County, son of Robert and Ruth Ann Smith Johnson . He was retired from ConAgra Frozen Foods and was of the Free Will Baptist Church Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 61 years, Shirley Johnson; 5 brothers.
He is survived by 4 sons, Dennis Johnson and wife Pat, Ron Johnson and wife Robyn, Augie Johnson and wife Ruby, and Ivan Johnson and wife Mandy; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Eva Tilley, Jean Trusty, Bobbie Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews
Funeral services are 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 12, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Joey Hanna officiating. Burial is in Harrison Cemetery at Ben Hur, under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour before service.
Pallbearers will be Paul Tilley, Ray Tilley, Kevin Tilley, Darren Carr.
