Obituary

Mildred Murphy, 94, of Casa, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Brookridge Cove in Morrilton. She was born November 29, 1925, in Casa, daughter of the late Vaudie and Bertha Barnett Poteete. She was a member of the Casa Assembly of God and of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers and sisters, Estelle Rainey, Ova Gordon, V.J. Poteete, and Marie Wells.
She is survived by her husband, Antone Murphy; sons, Michael Murphy and wife Sharon, Gary Murphy and wife Teresa, and Greg Murphy and wife Margarete; grandchildren, Jennifer and Shawn Wheeler, Jaime and Will Davis, Kayla and Will Fuller, Ashley and Trevor Burris, Kristene Murphy, Erin Murphy, Brian Spaeth; and one brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Jacquie Potette.
Funeral services are 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 4, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Greg Murphy and Rev. Micheal Burden officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at noon at the funeral home. Burial is in Fitch Cemetery at Rose Creek under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Mrs. Mickie was a great friend to our family. I remember many times spent with her and Sonny while being with my grandparents. Prayers of peace and comfort for the family.
