Kenneth Wayne  Austin
Kenneth Wayne “Porcupine” Austin, 72, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Johnson County Medical Center in Clarksville. He was born March 23, 1945, in Bells Chapel, son of the late Guy and Coma Keener Austin. He was the past-President of the Atkins Riding Club, and retired from Wal-Mart after a long career as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Holloway.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Austin; children, Julie Ennis, Mark Austin, Cindy and husband Randall Wyllia, David Holloway and wife Jessica, and Shannon and husband Jacob Chronister; 4 grandchildren, Cody Ennis and Heather, Ty Ennis, Baylee Austin, and Emily Austin; great-grandchild, Willa Austin; brother, Kerry Austin and wife Bonnie; sister, Annette and husband Jim Lemley; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, at Lemley Chapel in Atkins. Private burial will be held at a later date in Bells Chapel Cemetery.
