Cleatus H. Wright, Jr., 67, of Atkins, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 22, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of the late Cleatus Henry and Vera Briggle Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patsy Daughtry.

He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran, a retired long haul truck driver for Tyson foods and was a member of Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wright of Atkins; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Jill Wright of Russellville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Rance Claypool of Atkins, Sonya and Jamie Leavell of Dover; nine grandchildren, Courtney Brashear, Cassidy Brown, Clay Claypool, Christopher Wright, Lindsey Wright, Blake Wright, Joshua Deal, Spencer Leavell, Kurtus Leavell; six great grandchildren, Colden Deal, Caleb Kissinger, Wesley Brown, Claire Brashear, Chole Brashear, Kinlee Leavell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeannie Gibbons, Glenann and Pat Bickham, Odell Daughtry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church at 10:00 AM, Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM at the church.
