Barb & Rick

Barb was one of my dad's closest friends. Some knew Dad as "Richard," others as "Tiny," and Barb was one of many who called him "Rick." The two of them shared so many wonderful times, some of which I was honored to be a part of. I love thinking back on these times! They took many wheelchair rides together around Russellville, often landing at New China. They made each other laugh often. Dad cooked for Barb a lot. Barb and I had several phone conversations in the years after Dad passed. She never failed to talk (and cry) about how she missed Dad and how life just wasn't the same without him. Well, I'm glad to know that these two best friends have been reunited in Heaven! You will be missed here, Barb! Please give my dad a big hug for me! We love you!
