Me and Joe

I worked with Joe at the feed mill. We had some mighty fine times doing some of the hardest work I've ever done. Joe could hook up when he needed to, and he had a way of making light of how hard it really was.

There are not many memories of Joe that do not bring a smile with them, and though it's been nearly 20 years since we worked together, those memories are just as vivid and even more enjoyable now than they were then.

People move through our lives all the time. Most of them are little more acquaintances. If you're real lucky, every once in a while a Joe Gray  will come along. for the rest or your life the will be a richness that was not there before. Thanks, Joe! rest easy brother, We all be along shortly.
