My Brother the Fisherman

My brother, Wallace, loved to fish. One day on a sultry summer afternoon, Wallace, my neighbor friend, Alan Ponsetta and I went to the Shiloh strip pits to fish. We brought our poles, bait and of course, Coca Cola. We had so much fun just hanging out with our poles, not catching a single fish. The only thing that was caught was by Wallace... a carp, which he made the sign for bad fish and threw it back. It was a perfect day, locked in my memory of him.
