Shirley A. Beach, 62, of Atkins, died January 27, 2010, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born March 9, 1947, in Bay, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Richard and Fleeta Nann Howell Davis. She was of the Assembly of God faith.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Beach; three brothers, Billy, R.E., and Dearl Davis; and sister, Juanita Smith.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Richard Beach of Sterling, IL, and Robert Gene and Dana Carol Beach of Perry; three daughters and one son-in-law, Cheryl and David Coates of Casa, and Diana and Deanna Beach both of Atkins; seven grandchildren, Charlotte Ritter, Aaron Ritter, Justin Sales, Randy Henderson, Jr., Jessica Henderson, Grace Coates, and Jack Coates; one great-grandchild, Kinsleigh Grace Collins; three brothers, Ronnie, Freddy, and Jimmy Davis; two sisters, Geraldine Huckabee and Betty Sweeden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Lemley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm, at Lemley Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Chad Duvall officiating. Burial will be held at Shiloh Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Robert Gene Beach, David Coates, Jack Coates, Justin Sales, and Randy Henderson, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Beach.
