Raymond Glen Anderson, 86, of Atkins, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 1, 1925, in Russellville, the son of Emmett and Grace Connerly Anderson. He was a member of the Atkins First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, James B. Anderson; 2 brothers, Vernon Anderson and Don Anderson; and 2 sisters, Betty Jean Anderson and Rosa Lee Leonard.
He is survived by his wife, Christean Anderson; sister, Mary and husband Walt Reigle; 2 granddaughters, Shannen Stevens and Dayna Anderson; 2 grandsons, Glen Anderson and Chris Anderson; daughter-in-law, Tammy Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 11:00 AM Monday, June 4 at Atkins First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Cheatham and Leon Anderson officiating. Visitation is from 10:30-11:00 AM Monday morning at the church. Private burial will be at a later date.
