Obituary for William Roderick

William Roderick, 75, went home to the Lord May 7th. He was a retired senior lineman for Entergy and a minister for the Gravel Hill Church of Christ for over 49 years. He was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather, and a great friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilber and Ester Roderick; brother, Mike; and a nephew, David.
He is survived by his wife, Rex Ann Roderick; children, Scott Roderick, Amber MacNaulty, Jessica and husband Brad Cobb, Kacie and husband Rick Brown, Allen Roderick and wife Kari, Joyce Chenowith; brothers, Brian Kieth Roderick and wife Leona, James Alexander Roderick and wife Karen; sisters, Erin and husband Joe Aguirre, Robin Rochelle Roderick, Jeanie Roderick widow of Mike; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
His passion for life was loving his family and preaching the gospel of Christ. All the lives he touched cannot be numbered. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to Healing Hands International, www.hhi.org, or to Southern Christian Home.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, at Gravel Hill Church of Christ with visitation to be held one hour prior to services. Burial is in Gravel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
