Obituary for William Polacek
William Polacek, 82, of Hector, passed away January 13, 2021, at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1938, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of the late George and Mary Bruno Polacek. He was a US Steel welder and a wonderful father.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eugene Polacek (Vicki); children, Kelly Dunn and Scott Polacek; and two granddaughters, Gretchen Ferderbar and baby Kaylee.
He is survived by his wife, Adrian Polacek; children, Robin Peterson and April Henry; 6 grandchildren, Justin Henry, Payge Caulfield, Ryan Caulfield, Allysen Hollsten, Greysen Hollsten, and Breyden Hollsten; 5 great-grandchildren, Alex Marjie, Hannah Henry, Riley Henry, Delilah Henry, and Braelyn Marques; 2 brothers, Ronald Polacek (Maureen) and James Polacek (Sue); and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Arrangements are private under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. A family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.
