Obituary for William McGee
William McGee, 93, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born April 8, 1926, in Illinois, son of the late Loren and Oma Cleaver McGee. He served in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dewie McGee; and a sister, Katherine McDougal.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen McGee; 4 daughters, Sandra Irwin, Diana Corbett (Travis), Karen Wiggins (Steven) and Kim Newton (Bob); 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 5 sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, September 6, at Restoration Church with Pastor James Findley officiating. Burial is in Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Church.
