Obituary for Vernon Furr
Vernon Furr, 65, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Baptist Health in Little Rock. He was born April 9, 1953, in Turlock, California, son of the late Roy and Willo Dean Caldwell Furr. He was a wanderer who followed his own path. He was an avid fisherman and master chef.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John William Furr.
He is survived by his siblings, Patsy Marie Buchanan, Dannis Lee Furr, Valgene Daniels, Gloria Elaine Shafer, and Douglas Wayne Furr; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A memorial viewing and visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 27, at Lemley Chapel. Burial will be held in Goats Bluff Cemetery at a later date.
