Verdell Peters Goines, 96 of North Little Rock, passed away, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Robinson Nursing and Rehab. She was born July 2, 1924, daughter of the late J.E. and Carrie Stout Welcher. She was a member of Bells Chapel Church of Christ of Atkins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.D. Peters and her second husband, Aubrey Goines; 1 son, Grady Peters; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Faye Gibson; 1 son, Johnny Peters (Linda); 4 sisters, Emma Brock, Nina Haymes, Carolyn Scott, and Ann Welcher; 1 brother, Wilburn Welcher; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service and Burial will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 29, 2021 at Pisgah Cemetery with Robert Hearne officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are Grandsons.
