Obituary for Rev. Clellan H. Tilley
Clellan H. Tilley, 88, of Atkins, passed away, Friday, September 10, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 27, 1932 son of the late T.C. and Edna Brents Tilley.
He attended Happy Valley Assembly of God and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was ordained as an Assembly of God minister in 1966.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years and mother of his children, Doralene Gibby Tilley; 1 brother, Carroll Tilley; and 4 sisters, Bobbie Gipson, Bonnie Chism, Margaret Whittington and infant Wanda Tilley; and infant great-grandson, Jeremiah Tilley.
He is survived by his son, Michael Tilley (Anita) of Atkins; daughter, Regina Marchetta (Dominick) of Russellville; son, Mark Tilley (Regina) of Morrilton; and daughter, Diane Cochran (Herbert) of Atkins; 12 grandchildren, Eric Duvall (Renae), Crystal Duvall, Carrie Boren (Chris), Jerod Tilley (Ashlee), Chad Tilley (Erica), Autumn Midwell (Jesse), Everett Marchetta (Anh), Rebecca Marchetta, Cole Tilley (Joy), Kaylyn Tilley, Justin Cochran (Shelly) and Seth Cochran (Haylee); 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Nancy Brooks (Jim) and Carolyn Ness.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 14, at Lemley Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Scott Garrison will be officiating with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Jerod Tilley, Justin Cochran, Chad Tilley, Seth Cochran, Ben Cochran and Josh Jones.
