Obituary for Rebecca Jo Johnston
Rebecca Jo Johnston, 77, of Atkins, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020, at her home. She was born September 11, 1942, in Morrilton, daughter of the late Louis and Mary Whillock Berkemeyer. She was a member of the Atkins Church of the Assumption.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sisters, Mary Anna Embry and Jackie Virden.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Johnston; 3 sisters, Kathleen and husband Lonnie Napier, Pat and husband Paul Duvall, and Suzy and husband Gary McGee; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Graveside service and burial is 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 20, at Oakland Cemetery with Father Ernie Hardesty officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
