Raymond Blackwell, 76, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020, at his home. He was born February 1, 1944, son of the late Hobert and Ruthie Rainwater Blackwell. He was self-employed for 45 years as a contractor and had master licenses in heat and air, electrical and plumbing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Blackwell, and a great-grandson, Chris Jenkins, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Blackwell; 2 daughters, Milinda Jenkins (Frank Arthur), and Aneva Crawley; sister, Diane Barefield (Joe); 7 grandchildren, Chris, Dalton, Ashley, Margaret, Dustin, Tosha, and Tiffany; 16 great-grandchildren; a niece, Louise Cothren (Scott); 2 nephews, Junior Blackwell and Alvin Barefield; and several other family and friends.

Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 11, at Evans Mt. Full Gospel Church with Bro. Darwin Barnhouse and Chaplain Will Doughty officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Don Dotson, David McCurrie, Dalton Jenkins, Chris Jenkins, Cameron Crawley, and Terry Windham.
