Obituary for Randy Sweeden
Randy R. Sweeden, 68, of Atkins, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the Central Arkansas Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born September 24, 1949, in Atkins, son of the late R.C. and Ileen Baker Sweeden. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Dawn and husband Ross Blanford; grandchildren, Kayla Blanford of Cabot, Victoria BLanford, Reno, Nevada, Christopher BLanford of Katy, Texas, and Aaron Blanford of Katy, Texas; great-granddaughter, Annalee Blanford of Humble, Texas.
Graveside service and burial with military honors by VFW Rogers-Rye Post #2283 is 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 7, at Atkins City Cemetery with Rev. David Bishop officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, Little Rock, AR, 72114, or to Atkins City Cemetery, P.O. Box 128, Atkins, AR, 72823.
