Obituary for Ottalee Simmons Azbell
Ottalee Simmons Azbell, 91 of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born May 10, 1931, in Oklahoma to the late Jewel Riley and Ora Sullans Canada.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, J.T. Simmons; and grandson, Cody Simmons.
She is survived by her daughter, Verna Kirby; sons, Britt Simmons, and Bryan and Lisa Simmons; 1 brother, Joe and Debbie Canada; 1 granddaughter, Heather and Brad Southard; and great-grandchild, Blayne Simmons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 1:30 PM, Saturday, October 8, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Bishop officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Private Burial will be held in St. Joe Cemetery on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her honor be made to a charity of your choice.
