Opal Coffman, 90, of Russellville, departed this life May 15, 2019. She was born on top of Pea Ridge, north of Atkins, to the late Oma and Benton Davis. She retired from Conagra where she worked for more than 20 years. She also worked 10 years at the Area Agency on Aging and many more as a private pay caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, OT Coffman; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
She is survived by a son, Robert Coffman; 2 sisters, Catherine Morro and Ellois Irving; grandson, Richard Coffman, Susan Small and husband Kenneth, Sr., Alicia Tucker and lifelong partner Andrew Krocker; 8 grandchildren; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She enjoyed gambling, canning, knitting, and spending time with friends and family.
A family conducted graveside memorial service will be held at Shiloh Cemetery at a later date.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Atkins Care Center.
