Nina Jean Davis, 79, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born December 8, 1939, in Pope County, daughter of the late Herbert L. and Oneta Austin Sweeden. She was a member of St. Joe Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Anna Fike.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Davis; son, Ronnie Davis and wife Deb; daughter, Missy and husband David Haney; and grandchildren, Trish and husband Matt Klein, Christy and husband Steve Hornaday, Tyler Haney and wife Amanda, Sarah Haney, and Brad Abernathy; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Bishop and Rev. Fred Goates officiating. Burial is in St. Joe Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are Keith Fike, Kevin Fike, Brad Abernathy, Tyler Haney, Matt Klein, and Lucas Branch. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of the St. Joe Free Will Baptist Church.
