Michael Joe Holmes, 53, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at his home. He was born July 11, 1969, in Dardanelle, son of the late Carl and Gladys Duvall Holmes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Carl Wayne Holmes, Maria Holmes, and Mary Holmes.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Aquilla Holmes; children, Kayla and Cody Blaylock, and Michael and Cecily Holmes; grandchildren, EmmaRae Blaylock, Forrest Blaylock, Eden Holmes, and Avery Holmes; and siblings, Debra Holmes (Charles), David Holmes (Kelly), Lisa Stewart (Sonny), Bobby Holmes, Carla Fillion (Bobby), and Amanda Sanders (Bobby).
Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
