Obituary for Michael Carter
Michael Wayne Carter, 58, of Hector, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born April 22, 1962, in Roswell, New Mexico, the son of Riley Wayne and Evelyn Virginia Whitt Carter.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Carter; 5 daughters, Haley Carter, Heather Carter, Tiffany Allen, Amanda Childress, and Donna Carter; his mother; sister, Lori Harman (Randy); brother, Steven Carter (Vickie); 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
An open visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 PM, Friday, September 25, at Lemley Chapel under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Burial with military honors will be held at a later date.
