Obituary for Maudie Brown

Maudie E. Brown, 89 of Russellville, passed away, Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Legacy Heights Nursing Home. She was born February 20, 1932, daughter of the late Murl and Angeline Peoples Dowdy.
She was a member of Grace Chapel Church.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Charles Wheeler Haulmark and Elmer Jack Brown; 4 children, Eugene Haulmark, Michael Haulmark, Peggy Haulmark Smith, and Jay Haulmark; 2 sisters, Murlene Noland, and Wanda Spicer.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary “Polly” and Rev. George McNeese; daughter-in-law, Lavonda Haulmark; grandchildren, Rodney and Jessica McNeese, Greg and Nakosha McNeese, Charles and Donna Haulmark, Chris Haulmark, Cory and Lisa Haulmark, Eric and Isa Haulmark, Justin Haulmark, Melissa and Shawn Butler, April and Jeremie Myers; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great- granddaughter; 1 brother, James Dowdy; brother-in-law, Jimmy Noland; stepdaughter, Linda Griffin; stepdaughter-in-law, Elaine Brown; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and church family.

Funeral Service will be held 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 12, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. George McNeese and Rev. David Harrison officiating. Burial will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 11, at Lemley Chapel.

Pallbearers are Eric Haulmark, Thomas Qualls, Rickey Pruitt, Justin Brandon, Matthew Pruitt, and Greg McNeese.
