Obituary for Mary Ruth Dickerman
Mary Ruth Dickerman, age 98, of Atkins, passed away in Conway, on Feb. 5, 2020.
Mary was born in Atkins on Sept. 7, 1921.
She was the daughter of Virgil Louis Jobe and Ollie Marie Parrish Jobe.
She was the widow of Coy Emmet Austin and the widow of Leo Dickerman, and was preceded in death by one son, Max Emmet Austin; one sister, Sybil Marie Eslick; three brothers, Virgil Louis Jobe, Jr, Harlen Bryant Jobe and Virgil Lamarr Jobe.
She was a member of the Atkins United Methodist Church where she served for 52 years as pianist and as an active member of United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her son, Glenn Dale Austin (Gayle); grandson, Glenn Hunter Austin (Ambra); great-granddaughter, Hadleigh Elizabeth Austin; and great-grandson, Ethan Hunter Austin, all of Conway.
A family graveside service was conducted by Brother Darrell Ray with interment by Lemley Funeral Home at Bells Chapel Cemetery.
