Obituary for Mary Anna Hankins
Mary Anna Hankins, 87, of Atkins, died Saturday, April 15, 2023. She was born November 20, 1935, in Atkins, to the late Edward & Noma Keener Brown.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She graduated from Atkins High School where she was Homecoming Queen in 1953. She graduated from Capital Business College and worked at Sugarcreek in Russellville. She was a member of the Bells Chapel Church of Christ.
Mary Anna was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lawrence Emmett Hankins.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and DeAnne Hankins of Fort Smith, Greg and Rachelle Hankins of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Bob Mann of Vilonia; grandchildren, Lauren Hankins, Taylor Hankins, Connor Porter, Chloe Rowlett & Husband Jeff Rowlett.
A celebration of life and visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 18, at Lemley Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date. All other arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
