Marvin Lee Boren, 95, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born June 30, 1923, in Ozark, son of the late James Richard and Annie Bond Boren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sons, Charles A. Boren, Michael Boren, and Larry K. Boren; and a grandson, Gerald Foshee.
He is survived by his children, Betty and husband Doyle Foshee, Bruce N. Boren, Sr., and Johnny L. Boren; 2 brothers, Johnnie N. Boren, and Wayne F. Boren; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Friday, December 7, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Johnnie Boren and Bruce N. Boren II, officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers are Doyle Foshee, Bruce N. Boren II, Dale Foshee, Gary Boren, and Josh Boren.
