Lillie Marieta Norman, 74, of Atkins died Thursday May 17 at Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was born August 26, 1937 in Ozark, Arkansas the daughter of Arlis Ray and Gelene Walls Boren. She was a member of the Atkins Christian Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Earl Boren. She is survived by her husband Bobby Norman and one son, Robert C. Norman Jr. and wife Debbie; two grandchildren, Addy Norman Hough of San Angelo, Texas and Andrew Norman of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three sisters Maxine Mallet of Atkins, Jean Thomey of Morrilton, Arkansas and Charlotte Johnston of Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday, May 21 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Bobby Norman officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers are Andrew Norman, Gerald Johnston, Earl Ray Boren, Bud Norman, Gary Hodge and George Thomey.
Honorary pallbearers are Rev. Finis Roberts, Ed Moss, Mark Vaughn, Rev. Fred James, Terry French, Rev. James Findley and Rick Barnes.
