Obituary for Leonard Ray Heflin

Ray Heflin, 82, of Atkins, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born February 25, 1933, in the Pea Ridge community north of Atkins, son of the late Roy and Floy Duvall Heflin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Sue Heflin; brother, J.T. Heflin; daughter, Marilyn Cemental; 2 sisters, Elvelene and Louise Heflin; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
He is survived by a daughter, Carol and husband Rick Frady; son, Paul Ray Heflin and wife Pam; sister, Martha Sue Turner; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Monday, February 1, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Robert Heflin and Rev. Hank Duvall officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are Rick Frady, Josh Heflin, Kenny Roberts, Bill May, Ronnie Watts and Tommy Heflin.
