Obituary for Laura Willcutt

LAURA T. CHEEK WILLCUTT, 53, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 11:08 am, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born September 18, 1965, in Red Bud, Illinois, the daughter of Daniel and Emma Hefflinger Cheek. Laura was an LPN and she enjoyed spreading the word of the Lord. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Red Bud, Illinois.

Laura married Larry Willcutt on December 27, 1999 in Jerusalem, Arkansas; he preceded her in death on April 21, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her father, Daniel Cheek; brother, Michael Cheek; and a sister, Tina Porter.

She is survived by her two sons, Joshua Cheek and wife Melissa of Red Bud, IL, and Clinton Cheek and wife Angela of Waterloo, IL; mother, Emma Cheek of Evansville, IL; 11 brothers and sisters, Ann (John) Holland, George (Pat) Cheek, Kenneth (Charlene) Cheek, Danny (Marilyn) Cheek, Sandy Jett, Donna (Donald) Davis, Robert (Bridget) Cheek, Betty (Tom) Bievenue, Linda (Norman) Robert, Pam Selleck, and Aaron Cheek;4 grandchildren, Amelia, Alexa, Aria, and Witten; and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 23, at Lemley Chapel. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held from noon-2:00 PM prior to services.
