Obituary for Kurt R. Richter

Kurt Rudolf Richter, 78, from Russellville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord with his family at his side on Jan 2, 2023. Kurt was born in Barmstedt, Germany on August 7, 1944, to Rudolf Otto Richter and Alma Christine Errolat Richter. Kurt was married to Kay Lou Kinslow Richter on June 5, 1964. He was a member of Palmetto Church and a member of the Pope County Master Gardeners.

Kurt was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolf and Alma Richter; his wife, Kay Kinslow Richter; his son, Brian Steven Richter; and his grandson, Baby Colin Locke, and his brother, Frank Albin Richter.
He is survived by a brother, Rolf Richter and his wife Sandy; his daughters, Jessica Locke and her husband Dusty, Robyn Richter, Christie Fouts and her husband Jeff.

His precious grandchildren include Eric Richter and his wife Jessica, Mitchell Locke, Amber Beason and her husband Wesley, Nicholaus Richter, Aspen Fouts, Jonathan Casey and his wife Mckenzie, Eli Locke, Skylar Reaves, and Zoey Reaves. He was also blessed with 5 great-grandchildren, Emerson Richter, Granger Beason, Bryar Beason, Rowan Richter, and Emily Beason; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 4, at Lemley Chapel.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 5, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Sam Austin officiating and Rev. Jacky Townsell leading the opening prayer with Lori Austin Smith reciting the obituary. Burial is in Palmetto Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Pallbearers are Dusty Locke, Danny Darter, David Darter, Jeff Fouts, Chris Richter, and Epifanio Hernandez with honor Pallbearers being Eric Richter, Mitchell Locke, Amber Beason, Nicholaus Richter, Jonathan Casey, Eli Locke, Skylar Reaves, and Zoey Reaves.
