Obituary for Kay Richter

Kay Kinslow Richter, 76, from Russellville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord with her family at her side on April 9, 2022. Kay was born in Caglesville, Arkansas December 20, 1945, to Rev. Clyde Henry Kinslow and Dortha Dee Kinder Kinslow. Kay was married to Kurt Rudolph Richter on June 5, 1964. She was a member of Palmetto Church and a Pope County Master Gardener.

Kay was proceeded in death by her parents, Rev. Clyde and Dorotha Kinslow; son, Brian Steven Richter; and grandson, Baby Colin Locke.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kurt Richter; daughter, Jessica and husband Dusty Locke, and Robyn and husband Dolan Sharp; sisters, Jo Ann and husband Tommy Hill, and Bobbye and husband Rev. Sam Austin; grandchildren, Eric Richter and wife Jessica Robison, Mitchell Locke, Amber and husband Wesley Beason, Nicholaus Richter, Jonathan Casey, Abbigale Sharp, Eli Locke, Skylar Reaves, and Zoey Reaves; great-grandchildren Emerson Richter, Granger Beason, Bryar Beason, Rowan Richter, and Emily Beason; and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday April 14, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Sam Austin and Rev. Jacky Townsell officiating. Burial is in Palmetto Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Chapel.

Pallbearers are Danny Darter, David Darter, Dusty Locke, Dolan Sharp, Jeff Fouts, Chris Ricther. Honorary Pallbearers are Eric Richter, Mitchell Locke, Amber Beason, Nicholaus Richter, Jonathan Casey, Abbigale Sharp, Eli Locke, Skylar Reaves and Zoey Reaves.
