Obituary for Judith "Judi" Waldrop

Judith Ann ”Judi” Waldrop, 74, of Atkins, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019, at her home. She was born June 30, 1944, in Modesto, California, daughter of the late Marvin and Margaret Grandt Fleshman.
She was a loving mother, neighbor and dear friend to nearly everyone she met. Judi had few successful careers over her lifetime as a school teacher, an award-winning real estate agent and real estate broker. Judi loved volunteering in her community and previously served as President of the Lion’s Club Chapter. Judi loved to read and garden. She was a wonderful wife to her beloved husband Joseph who preceded her. She was a member of Atkins Memorial Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Heather and husband David Sutton; her step-daughter, Shena and husband Denny Ball of Hot Springs; grandchildren; Jessica, Christopher (Emilee), J.T., David Jr., Joe, Kalee; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Laurel Wilson and brother Stephan Fleshman. Judi was very much loved and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday. March 20, 2019, at The Atkins Memorial Presbyterian Church, with arrangements under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Memorials in her honor may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 E. Parkway, Suite 3, Russellville, AR 72802.
