Obituary for Juanita Clary

Juanita Williams Clary, age 78, of Russellville passed away Monday, June 1, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family

She was born June 19, 1941, in Eastland, TX to Calvin and Mary Shepperd Williams.
At the age of 8 she went to the Texas Pythian Home for Children in Weatherford, TX (the Castle on the Hill) with her four brothers and a sister. She graduated from Weatherford High School and attended Weatherford College where she met her future husband, Eldon Clary, Jr.

Upon completing her degree from the University of North Texas, she taught elementary school in McKinney Texas before moving to Russellville. She taught in both the Russellville and Pottsville school districts, with 27 of her years at Pottsville Elementary. She taught a total of 30 years even though she was never promoted past second grade!

She was preceded in death by her brothers Dick and Roger Williams and George and Steve Erwin, guardians Hugo and Lina Horstmann, mother Mary Erwin and father Calvin Williams.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Eldon Clary Jr and their seven children, four by birth and 3 bonus by marriage: Daughters Cindy Thompson of Russellville, AR; Cathy (Roger) Bradshaw of Millsap, TX; Donna (Steve) Milligan of Russellville, AR; and son Bill (Lorie) Clary of Conway, AR. The apples of her eyes were her 10 grandchildren: Jessica (Greg) Condley, Ashley Bradshaw, Marissa Milligan, Parker Thompson, Jason Thompson, Sydney Milligan, Matthew Bradshaw, Elisabeth Clary, Emma Clary, and Rylee Milligan; and 2 great grandchildren, Aiden and Rory Condley. She is also survived by two brothers; Charles (Ruby) Williams of Weatherford, TX; Mike (Judy) Williams of Frisco, TX; and one sister, Alyce Korn of Melbourne, FL.

Due to the current pandemic, graveside services will be held at Pisgah Cemetery, Pottsville, AR, Friday, June 5th, at 10 am by Lemley Funeral Home. Visitation is private.

Pallbearers will be Parker Thompson, Jason Thompson, Matthew Bradshaw, Greg Condley, and Jason Spotanski.
