The man, the myth, the legend John Travis Tillman, 65, of Atkins, passed away February 23, 2023. He was born on February 23, 1958, in Benton, son of the late John and Mary Cummings Tillman. He worked 43 years as a vending machine maintenance operator, and loved softball, fishing, and his kids and grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephews, Michael Wilburn, Bryan Wilburn, and Brady Holder.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer Tillman, and Jesse Tillman (Jillian); grandchildren, Taylor (Keri), Tarayn, Joey, and bonus grandson, Hunter (Nichole); great-grandchildren, Jayven, Journee, Kaiden, Haiden Shae, and Hunter Ryder; brothers, David Tillman (Trina), and Robert Tillman; sisters, Donna Garrett, Debbie Wilburn, Myra Wilson (John), and Lynn Tiley (Duane); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
