Obituary for John Horn
John Horn, 73, of Danville, passed away, Tuesday, March 8, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born March 9, 1948, in Steele, Missouri son of Edgar Horn and Billie Holloway Daniels.
He enjoyed truck driving from an early age of 16 and was loved by his wife, children, and grandchildren whom he cherished.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Horn, mother, Billie and Dearl Daniels; and 4 brothers, Edgar and Dorothy Horn, Danny Paul and Viola Horn, Adrian Horn and David L. Horn; and 2 nephews, John “Kever” Horn and Shane Horn.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary McGowan Horn; son, Michael and Sarah Johnson; daughter, Holly Johnson Horn; 2 brothers, Allen and Carolyn Horn, and Quince and Wendy Horn; 2 sisters, Susan and Jerry Pray, and Marsha Stone; grandsons, James and Hale’e Johnson, Christian Johnson, Jayce Johnson, Evan Johnson, Kade Johnson; granddaughters, Harmony Weston, Mary Jane Weston, Faith Weston; and 1 great granddaughter, Kenadee Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members he adored.
Graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 14 at Bells Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers are James Johnson, Christian Johnson, Jayce Johnson, Evan Johnson, Billy Horn, Shawn Horn and Kade Johnson.
