Joann Baker, 81, of Atkins, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018, at her home. She was born October 16, 1936, in Atkins, daughter of the late Bert and Alyne Jones Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Baker; and a brother, Don Hall.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer and husband James Miller; granddaughter, Chelsea Miller; grandson, Kenny Miller; and a step-grandson, Sammy Miller.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Friday, August 17, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Bro. Charlie Bird officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, at Lemley Funeral Service.
Pallbearers are Kenny Miller, Grant Hall, Richard Holcomb, Johnny Ralph Pew, Cliff Roberson, and Brent Pearce.
