Jimmie Gray, 83, of Pottsville, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020, at his home. He was born October 10, 1936, in Atkins, son of the late Silas and Zada Hodge Gray. He was of the Assembly of God faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Carl Gray; brother, Charles Gray; sister, Nina Crow; mother of his children, Inez Gray; an infant son; and a stepson, Rick Mashburn.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Gray; sister, Imajean Crow; stepchildren, Regina Tucker, and Rusty Mashburn and wife Regina; grandchildren, J.R. Gray, J.J. Gray, D.J. Gray, Mandy Carmack and Geof, Jennifer Shultz and Ryan, and Adam Tucker; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 7 at Lemley Chapel with Chaplain Cullianne Foster officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers are Rickey Fuller, Rusty Russell, Michael Roberts and Geof Carmack.
