Jessie Ernestine (Jeff) Hawkins passed at her home in Atkins on Friday, October 14th, 2022, at 85 years of age. She is pre-deceased by her husband Thomas Ray Hawkins and all her siblings.

‘Jeff’, as she has been called her whole life, was born Jessie Ernestine Fields in Atkins Arkansas in 1937. She was the youngest of her family with 7 siblings; Hobart, Dorsey, William, J.D. Alexander, James, Billy, and Dorthy Fields.

She married the love of her life, Thomas R Hawkins, in 1958 and they lived and raised their sons in Russellville AR. Jeff was an enthusiastic world traveler, visiting and living in Europe and the Middle East when Tom’s work took him overseas for extended periods of time. She was skilled tennis player, playing well into her 70’s and with many awards won throughout the years. She loved horses from a young age and would still ride whenever the opportunity arose. Jeff had passion for arts, crafts, and growing things. She was a talented painter, seamstress, woodworker, and gardener. Jeff deeply loved God and family, with devout belief for the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We love you Mama Jeff and will cherish your memory forever.
