Jefferson Davis Pennington, Jr., 80, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at his home. He was born July 28, 1938, in Russellville, son of the late Jefferson Davis Pennington, Sr. and wife Alta Hibbs Pennington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Jo Salmon.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Pennington; 2 sons, John Pennington and wife Susan, and Phillip Pennington; daughter, Ruth and husband Dennis Kelleher; 8 grandchildren, Kerri, Bethany, Suzanne, Johnathan, Daniele, Caleb, Jake and Shannon; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held 10:00 AM-11:30 AM with a family conducted memorial service from 11:30-noon on Saturday, January 26, at Lemley Chapel with arrangements under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
