Obituary for James Marshall Vaughan
James Marshall Vaughan, 64, of Dover, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022. He was born August 10, 1958, in Russellville.
He recently retired from Tyson Valley Distribution Center in Pottsville and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with his kids, but his greatest joy was his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Marshall and Anna Vaughan.
He is survived by a daughter, Amber and husband Randall Melton; son, Joshua Vaughan; mother, Euletta Maxwell; brother, Phillip Vaughan and wife Lisa; sister, Rebecca Dodson; 4 stepsisters, Diane Grigsby, Janetta and husband Jerry Reynolds, Mittie and husband David Bradley, Donna and Ed Loyd; grandchildren, Gabriel James Melton, Ethan Taylor Vaughan, Keegan Joseph Melton; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
All are welcome to attend the memorial service to be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, December 2, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Josh Reynolds officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM, following the memorial service.
