James G. Teal of Atkins passed away at his home on March 23, 2019.
He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department. He was an over 50 year member of the Atkins Masonic Lodge #172, and a long time member of the Atkins First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Unis W. and Mary Sue Cornell Teal and a brother, W. C. Teal.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ruth E. Wilson Teal, sons, Paul Teal (Diane Potter) and Gaylon Teal (Lissa), sisters, Margaret Sweeden and Bonnie Mosslander, grandchildren, Chris Teal, Jamie Teal, Erin Aylor (Warren), step- grandchildren, Sarah Bauman, Leigh Discenza (Jonathan), Michael Discenza (Stacy), and 17 great-grandchildren and 8 nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will by Tuesday, March 26th at 2:00 at Oakland Cemetery north of Atkins with Rev. Charley Casto officiating
Pallbearers are Donnie Reel, Ray Caldwell, Louis Schmoll, John Pew, Ed Neumann and Rickey Don Johnson.
