Obituary for James Daniel Camp Jr.
James Daniel Camp, JR, 71, of Atkins, passed away Saturday, October 29, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born August 7, 1951, in Morrilton, to the late James Daniel and Etta Lou Tilley Camp, SR.
Jim was a member of the DAV, VFW, and the Atkins Fire Department.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepbrother, Wesley Harris.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Grace Bell Camp; son, Kristopher Daniel Camp; daughter, Dawn Charise and husband Andre Pruitt; brothers, Kelvin Lynn Camp and wife Glenda, and Charles Edward Camp and wife Christine; sisters, Janoice Darnell and husband Sinone Trujillo, and Amanda Flangas; one grandchild, Sawyer Dale Pruitt; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 2 at Lemley Chapel under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 2 at Harding Street Church of Christ at the Church Annex, 906 E. Harding St. Morrilton, AR 72110. Private Burial will be held in Bells Chapel Cemetery.
