Obituary for James Buchanan
James Buchanan, 77, of Russellville, passed away October 29, 2020, at his home. He was born May 19, 1943, in Arizona, son of the late Orville and Viola Sewell Buchanan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patty Buchanan; brother, Dee Buchanan; and a sister, Datheal Davis.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary and husband Michael McDonald; son, James C. Buchanan; 7 grandchildren, Anthony Tyner, Alex Tyner, Michael D. McDonald, Emma Buchanan, Tayler Buchanan, Jordan Buchanan, and Natalie Buchanan; brother, David Buchanan; sister, Elizabeth Buchanan; Pamela Buchanan; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 5, at Lemley Chapel. Private burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to the Buchanan Family Memorial Expense Fund, c/o Lemley Funeral Service, P.O. Box 126, Atkins, AR, 72823.
