Obituary for Ida "Jo" Sand

Ida “Jo” Sand, 67, of Atkins, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born February 2, 1946, in Little Rock, the daughter of Fred and Euna Bolin Hubbard. She worked many years at Frolic Footwear and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a passionate defender of the Democratic party. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, her dogs, and playing poker and rummy. She looked forward to reading her Atkins Chronicle each Wednesday.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Sand; 4 brothers, H.H. Hubbard, Wallace Hubbard, Billy H. Hubbard and Jack Hubbard; and 2 sisters, Lois Lee Keener and Patti Rozzell.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Warren; a sister, Sue Ellen Hubbard Carpenter; 2 brothers, Bob and Emmett Hubbard; her children, Jimmy Cline and wife Sharon, Shane Cline and wife Bonnie, and Bridget and husband Shannon Davis; 6 grandchildren, Gabbi and Brody Davis, Shaina and Hayden Cline, and Ashley and Anthony Cline; and two dogs, Chauncey and Charlie.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 17, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Charley Casto and Rev. B.J. Duvall officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday.
Pallbearers are Heath Davis, John McLelland, Sam McLelland, Jimmy Cline, Shannon Davis, Shane Cline, C. Ray Jones, Mike Sanders and Bobby Hays. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
