Herbert L. Poare , 93, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home in Russellville. He was born May 11, 1926, in Wilbertone, OK, Son of the late Clarence Poare and Grace Wilkerson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donny Poare; one daughter, Tony Alves; one brother, Bobby Poare; and two sisters, Joyce Anders and Thelma Clack.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Poare; three step-daughters, Anita Drennon, Evelyn Mariconi, and Angela Chambers; one god-daughter, Pearl Turntuist; two sisters, Shirley Holly and Pat Burke; 4 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A private family graveside at Bells Chapel Cemetery with Rev. David Bishop officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 220 John Babish lane, Russellville, AR 72801.
