Glenn F. May, 77, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. He was born November 18, 1942, in Bells Chapel, son of the late Truman F. and Hazel Reed May. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he retired from Welsco, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruby Nell Metz; and a brother, Donald Edward May.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; brothers-in-law, James Metz of Olive Branch, MS, and Truman Hill and wife Jan of Russellville; sister-in-law, Betty and husband William Mackey of Russellville; nieces, Paula and husband Wes Bowlin of Rogers, Pam Prince and Jay Lucas of Little Rock, Alice Ann and husband Rob Calhoun of Conway, Pam and husband Mark Wilcox of Russellville, and Nancy and husband Andre Dyer of Mabelvale; and nephew, Eric Mackey of Goodletsville, TN.
Graveside service and burial is 11:30 AM, Tuesday, December 17, at Bells Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Michael Blanchard officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at Lemley Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers are Steve Troyke, Dennis Boren, Lonnie Kennedy, Miles Bowlin, Jeremy Lucas, Zachary Lucas, Ryan Paul and Brayden Paul.
