I remember Aunt Willene spending a lot of time with us when I was little. She would come and stay until she got tired of all s younger kids hanging all over her. I loved to hear hear play the old pump organ Granny & Grandpa had, she could make that thing literally bounce across the floor as she pumped those pedals. When we moved to California Aunt Willene and I stayed fin touch by writing letters to one another. Although she now went by her first name Eva she will always be Aunt Willene. She was a true friend to this teenage girl...

When I was a child, Aunt Willene would visit and spend a few weeks with our family during the summer. My Dad, Leo, her brother; bought me a brand new Radio Flyer wagon which came equipped with hard-rubber tires. Well, I hauled Willene around in the wagon and we wore those tires out the first summer. We always had a good time together and love her very dearly. May God comfort and strengthen each of you!
